1. The Contest
NFLatino.com Fantasy '09 (the "Contest") is a way to test your own football knowledge when it comes to predicting the performance of various football players. NFLatino.com Fantasy '09 is provided solely for entertainment purposes or as a pastime. NFLatino.com Fantasy '09 is officially sponsored by the National Football League ("NFL") and operated and administered by Fantasy Sports Services Inc. (the "Contest Operator"). The Contest shall coincide with the 2009 NFL football regular season commencing Thursday, September 10, 2009 and concluding with the final game played on Sunday, January 3, 2010. You will be able to register for and participate in NFLatino.com Fantasy '09 starting at 2:00:01 p.m. ET on Monday, August 31, 2009 and ending at 1:00:00 p.m. ET on January 3, 2010 (the "Contest Period").
2. Eligibility
No purchase necessary. This Contest is open only to individual legal residents of the United States who have reached the age of 18 on or before Thursday, September 10, 2009. Contest judges and employees of the NFL, its thirty-two professional member clubs (the "Member Clubs"), NFL Properties LLC, NFL International LLC, NFL Enterprises LLC, NFL Productions LLC, NFL Ventures, L.P, NFL Ventures, Inc. (collectively, the "NFL Entities"; and together with the Contest Operator, the "Contest Entities"), the Contest Operator, the Contest Sponsors or any or their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising, promotion or publicity agencies, prize suppliers, or the service agencies or independent contractors of any of the preceding organizations; individuals engaged in the development of, the production or distribution of materials for, or the implementation of this sweepstakes; and (d) members of the immediate families (parent, spouse, sibling, child) of or persons domiciled with such employees, are not eligible to enter or win. Travel companion(s) must be at least 18 years of age unless traveling with their parent or legal guardina. If you reside outside of the United States (an "Ineligible Jurisdiction"), you may play the game for enjoyment purposes and have your place noted in the standings however, you will not be eligible to win a prize.
3. How to Register to be able to Participate in NFLatino.com Fantasy '09
Complete the NFLatino.com Fantasy '09 on-line registration form. YOU MUST register for a Fantasy Sports Services Username and Password by clicking "Register" and completing and submitting the on-line registration form". There is no fee to register, play or make player changes. You may register at any time during the Contest Period. Registrants will be able to choose their players (as outlined in section 4 below) and will then have a chance to enter to win. Please see the complete list of prizes in section 7 below. MAXIMUM OF ONE (1) REGISTRATION PER PERSON/E-MAIL ADDRESS. Any additional registrations submitted by the same person and/or through the same e-mail address at a later time or date will nullify all of their registrations. A person who submits more than one registration will not be eligible for any prizes.
4. How to Play
The object is to choose the actual NFL players you think will perform best in their actual NFL games and accumulate the most number of Fantasy Points in that week's games.
Select a fantasy team of nine (9) players, comprised of:
TWO (2) Quarterbacks, selected from the Quarterback player list;
TWO (2) Running Backs, selected from the Running Back player list;
TWO (2) Wide Receivers, selected from the Wide Receiver player list;
ONE (1) Tight End, selected from the Tight End player list;
ONE (1) Kicker, selected from the Kicker player list:
ONE (1) Defensive Team, selected from the Defensive Team list.
Click on the check box before the name of the player or team whom you wish to select on the Contest Game Form, then clicking on the "submit" button to submit the Contest Game Form after making all your selections. If submitted by the relevant deadline (as outlined below), these selections will become your active roster for that week's football games. You CANNOT exceed the nine-player limit and must make the appropriate number of selections from each of the six (6) player position lists provided.
The players you select will accumulate points based on the NFLatino.com Fantasy '09 scoring system (see Scoring System in section 6 below). Only statistics from 2009 NFL football regular season games will count towards the Contest. NFLatino.com Fantasy '09 point totals will be tabulated daily, as applicable, and the standings will be posted beginning on Tuesday until Monday of each weekly prize period for the duration of the Contest (however, the first standings will be posted on Friday, September 11, 2009). The daily point totals will include all NFLatino.com Fantasy '09 Fantasy Points accumulated by the individual players and teams up to and including the previous day's 2009 NFL football regular season games.
PLEASE NOTE: the Contest Operator reserves the right to ADD names to one or more of the various player lists on the on-line contest game form at their discretion. It is the responsibility of the registrant to review the game form and be aware of such changes. Once added to the on-line contest game form, a name will NEVER be deleted and will remain on that given player list for the duration of the Contest.
To be eligible for a particular Weekly Prize (see 'Weekly Highest Standing Prize' below) a registrant must submit his/her selections (and that submission must be received) prior to the Weekly Submission Deadline for the corresponding weekly prize period. Note that each "weekly prize period" does not necessarily correspond to a 7-day period but, rather, is defined in the Weekly Submissions Deadlines chart below. The Weekly Submission Deadlines will be posted in Eastern Time on the Contest Game Form (see Weekly Submission Deadlines below). In the event the NFL 2009 football schedule changes (e.g. a game is postponed or not held), the Weekly Submission Deadline may be changed by Contest Operator, the new deadline will be posted online on the Contest Game Form, and the effects of the change (if any) on the Contest will be outlined on the Web site. Note that to be eligible for the first Weekly Prize, your selections must have been received by 8:00:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) on Thursday, September 10, 2009 (the Weekly Submission Deadline for the first week of the contest). Also, please note: there are several weekly prize periods that will have a Weekly Submission Deadline before Sunday, due to Thursday and Saturday games. These deadlines will be posted with the Contest Game Form. In the event that a football game is rescheduled to start before or after the posted Weekly Submission Deadline in the Official Rules, then the Contest Operator may report a change to the Weekly Submission Deadline for that given weekly prize period on the Web site.
All registrants whose selections are received prior to a particular Weekly Submission Deadline will begin to accumulate points for all games played in the corresponding weekly prize period. If the submission is received after a given Weekly Submission Deadline, the registrant will not begin to accumulate points in respect of that submission until the commencement of the next weekly prize period. Fantasy Points WILL NOT be awarded retroactively to the beginning of any particular weekly prize period or period. The accumulation of points to determine the winner of the 2009 Grand Prize Contest Period begins with the NFL games starting on Sunday, September 27, 2009 (Overall Grand Prize Submission Deadline).

5. Trading
Registrants for NFLatino.com Fantasy '09 can make unlimited on-line changes (trades) to their active roster at any time during the Contest Period. Entrants may trade any player on their active roster; however, when a player is traded from a roster, he MUST be replaced by a player from the same player position list. You can trade a player by clicking on the check box before the name of the player (or Team) you wish to drop from your active roster (thereby removing the check mark in front of that player's name) and then clicking on the check box in front of the player (or Team) you would like instead. Once you have the correct number of players (or Team) selected in that player position list, click on the Submit button to have your changes (trades) take effect for the upcoming weekly prize period. For any particular weekly prize period, you can change your selections as often as you want up until the corresponding Weekly Submission Deadline, but the selections that you last submit and that are received prior to the Weekly Submission Deadline will be your official selections and become your active roster for the corresponding weekly prize period. Trades made after a given Weekly Submission Deadline are effective at the beginning of the next weekly prize period. If, between Weekly Submission Deadlines, you do not make any changes to your active roster, then it will remain effective for the next weekly prize period.
Note that, if a registrant trades a player who had previously earned him/her Fantasy Points, those Fantasy Points are retained (despite the trade) for the purposes of the 2009 Grand Prize tabulation.

Please note:
- Players earn Fantasy Points for TDs scored on kickoff or punt returns, but yards gained of kickoff and punt returns do not count towards total rushing yards.
- Every player you select earns points for any TDs they are credited with - whether it is for passing, rushing, receiving, kick/punt return or defensive - regardless of the position they play.
- Fantasy Points are awarded to registrants based on their active rosters for the particular weekly prize period and the statistics accumulated from that week's games, i.e., if Stephen Jackson is on your active roster for Week #10 and rushes for 99 yards in Week #10, he will receive nine (9) Fantasy Points for rushing yards in Week #10. If in Week #11, he's still on your active roster and rushes for 11 yards, he will receive one (1) Fantasy Point for rushing yards in Week #11.
- Rounding will NOT be used when calculating points from statistics. For example, 49 yards rushing will result in 4 points.
- Offensive Scoring (QB, RB, WR, TE) Scoring will be calculated according to the following example: If a QB throws for 200 yards and 2 TDs; rushes for 20 yards and 1 TD; and has 25 yards receiving, his point total for the week would be: 3 TDs = 9 points, 200 yards passing = 8 points, 20 yards rushing = 2 points, 25 yards receiving = 2 points; or 21 total points for the week. Please note that, if you have an active QB and an active WR who play for the same NFL team, and your QB throws a touchdown pass to your WR, then you are credited with two touchdowns on the play (one passing and one receiving). Also, players on your active roster at an offensive position cannot receive individual offensive points for your team when they are on special teams.
- Defensive / Special Team scores (TDs, , INTs, Safeties or Sacks) Your defense/special teams is awarded points when any one of its members generates either a TD, INT, , safety or sack. Your defense/special teams is also awarded points for a kickoff or punt return that results in a TD. For instance, if your active defense/special teams is the Saints, and Reggie Bush returns a punt for a TD, your defense/special teams (the Saints) gets 6 points. But in that same situation, a team using Reggie Bush as an active RB would NOT be awarded 6 points for the touchdown.
7. Winners and Prizes
Weekly Highest Standing Prize
There will be SEVENTEEN (17) Weekly Highest Standing Prizes, one (1) awarded for each weekly prize period to the entrant that accumulates the most NFLatino.com Fantasy '09 Fantasy Points based on the final standings for that given weekly prize period. Entrants will be ranked from most Fantasy Points to least. The weekly prize will be a one-hundred dollar ($100 US) gift certificate to NFLShop.com ("NFL Shop") (Approximate Retail Value: $100). The NFL Shop gift certificate is subject to certain terms and conditions which shall be set forth on the gift certificate. See below for information on Tiebreakers.
Overall Contest Period Prizes
Overall Grand Prize
There will be one (1) Overall Grand Prize of a round-trip for two (2) to the 2010 Super Bowl in Miami, Florida. The Overall Grand Prize will be awarded to the entrant that accumulates the most NFLatino.com Fantasy '09 Fantasy Points based on cumulative weekly Fantasy Point totals from all games in each weekly prize period played from Sunday, September 27, 2009 up to and including the completion of the 2009 NFL regular football season. The odds of winning the Overall Grand Prize depend on the number of entries, the timing of the entries and the relative prognostication skills of the entrants.
Overall Grand Prize includes: roundtrip economy air transportation for two (2) to Miami, Florida from the U.S. major commercial airport which is closest to the winner's home; four (4) nights standard accommodation (double occupancy) for two (2) persons in Miami; and two (2) tickets to the 2010 Super Bowl in Miami, Florida on February 7, 2010. All other expenses not specified herein, including but not limited to: ground transportation; meals; airport taxes; telephone, fax or cable charges; personal services and expenses such as laundry, valet, room service; gratuities; optional tours; insurance; medical travel documents; and other incidental costs and any other costs not specifically stated herein as being included, are the responsibility of the prize winner and his/her guest. The prize winner and his/her guest are responsible for all required medical and travel related necessities (including inoculations) and documentation. The prize winner and his/her guest must travel together. Travel companion must be 18 years of age unless traveling with their parent or legal guardian. Approximate retail value of the Overall Grand Prize is $5,000 USD (the actual retail value may vary depending upon point of departure). Winner and guest must travel on the trip dates specified by the NFL. The trip dates are February 4, 2010 to February 8, 2010. Due to the nature of the prize, no alternative travel dates are available. Prize must be accepted as awarded and may not be substituted or converted to cash, except as provided in these rules. The NFL reserves the right to select airline and accommodation in its sole discretion. The NFL Entities will not be responsible if event cancellations or other factors beyond their reasonable control prevent the Overall Grand Prize or any part of the Overall Grand Prize from being fulfilled. In any such event, the Overall Grand Prize winner will not be provided with a substitute or cash equivalent for the Overall Grand Prize, or any such part of the Overall Grand Prize. The NFL Entities make no express or implied warranties or conditions of any kind with respect to safety, appearance or performance of any prize or prize activity offered. Taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the prize winners.
Confirmation of Winners
Potential Winners of Weekly Highest Standing Prizes and Overall Grand Prize
In respect of the Weekly Highest Standing Prizes and the Overall Grand Prize, unofficial standings will be posted each day (beginning on Tuesday through to the following Monday of each weekly prize period). The standings will list the top 50 entrants for the current Weekly Highest Standing Prize and the Overall Grand Prize. The unofficial final standings for each Weekly Highest Standing Prize will be posted by 5:00 p.m. ET each Tuesday, beginning on September 15, 2009. The unofficial standings for the Overall Grand Prize will be posted beginning on September 28, 2009. The unofficial final standings for the Overall Grand Prize will be posted by 5:00 p.m. ET on the day after the completion of the 2009 NFL regular football season. The point totals of all entrants will be posted by 5:00 p.m. ET daily.
Unofficial Standings
Important notice: all standings are UNOFFICIAL for one (1) week following the final game of a given weekly prize period or the overall Contest Period ('Unofficial Results Period'). In the event that you note what you believe to be an error in your standings, please notify the Contest Operator at the following email address: gameshelp@fantasysports.ca within the one (1) week period, otherwise it will be assumed that the standings are correct. Player statistics are subject to official league correction during the one (1) week following the final game of a given weekly prize period or the overall Contest Period. After the one (1) week period, all standings become official. All Weekly Highest Standing Prizes and the Overall Grand Prize will be awarded based on the official standings.
For five (5) days after each date on which standings become official, the Contest Entities will make reasonable attempts to contact potential winners by telephone or e-mail at the phone number or e-mail indicated on their registration form and further arrangements will be made for delivery of their prize. A potential winner will not be confirmed as a winner until he/she has: (i) completed, signed and returned the Affidavit of Eligibility and Release of Liability and Publicity (unless prohibited by law) (if deemed necessary by the NFL) within five (5) days of receipt of the documentation; and, (ii) otherwise complied with these contest rules. Weekly Highest Standing Prizes will be delivered to confirmed winners within 6-8 weeks of satisfaction of these conditions. Arrangements for the Overall Grand Prize will be made with the confirmed winner within a reasonable period of time before the Super Bowl. Should a potential winner not be able to be reached within five (5) days of the first attempted contact or fail to satisfy the above conditions, his/her entry may be declared null and void and another entry selected from among the remaining eligible entries in accordance with these contest rules. The guest of the winner of the Overall Grand Prize must also complete, execute and return a Release of Liability and Publicity (the "Travel Companion Release Forms") (unless prohibited by law) prior to issuance of travel documents. Failure to return Travel Companion Release Forms in a timely manner may prevent your travel companion from participating in the awarded Overall Grand Prize.
Tiebreakers
In the event of a tie for a Weekly Highest Standing Prize or the Grand Prize, the prizes will be awarded using the following criteria, in the order listed, until all ties are broken based on statistics from the relevant period:
1. Entrant whose selections have accumulated the most number of Offensive Fantasy Points from all selections during the relevant period;
2. Entrant whose selections have accumulated the most number of Defensive Team Fantasy Points from all selections during the relevant period;
3. Entrant whose selections have accumulated the most number of Receptions from all selections during the relevant period;
4. Entrant whose selections have accumulated the most number of Sacks from all selections during the relevant period;
5. Entrant that has accumulated the most number of Interceptions during the relevant period;
6.Entrant with the earliest date of submission of the Contest registration form as recorded in the contest user database entry log.
8. General
In the event of any dispute regarding the identity of the party submitting an electronic entry, the entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the registered holder of the email account associated with the entry.
No substitutions or transfers of prizes will be allowed except for the NFL's right to substitute prizes of equivalent or greater value in the event of circumstances beyond the NFL's control.
In any dispute, the Contest Entities will decide the issue in a manner which, in its sole opinion, is the fairest to all parties concerned. All decisions by the Contest Entities will be final and binding on all parties in all respects. By entering the Contest, players agree to abide by these rules. Any violation of the rules is cause for voiding a player's entry. The Contest Entities, in their sole discretion, reserve the right to disqualify any entrant from participating in this Contest, refuse to award points and/or prizes, and require the return of any prizes, if an entrant engages in conduct the Contest Entities deem to be improper, unfair or otherwise adverse to the operation of the Contest or detrimental to other entrants. Such improper conduct includes, but is not limited to, falsifying personal information required during Contest registration, violating any term or condition stated in these Official Rules, accumulating points through methods such as automated computer scripts or other programming techniques, tampering with the Contest Operator's administration of this Contest, or intentionally trying to defraud, reverse engineer, disassemble, decompile or otherwise tamper with the computer programs on this website.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A CONTESTANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE GAME IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE CONTEST ENTITIES RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH CONTESTANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
The Contest Entities reserve the right to modify these rules for clarification purposes without materially affecting the terms and conditions of the Contest. The Contest is not affiliated with or endorsed by the NFL or any NFL team. This is a skill contest designed to increase consumer awareness of and interest in NFLatino.com. This Contest may not be used for any form of gambling.
If for any reason the Internet portion of the program is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Contest Entities which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Contest, the Contest Entities reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest. In such event, the Contest Entities further reserve the right to award the Overall Grand Prize to the entrant with the most points as of the termination date.
The Contest Entities and/or their parents, affiliates, subsidiaries and related companies, their advertising or promotion agencies or their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents do not assume any liability and are not responsible for, and each Entrant hereby forever waives any rights to any claim in connection with (collectively, the "Releasees"), any computer, cable, network, technical, hardware or software failures of any kind; lost or unavailable telephone or network connections; traffic congestion in the Internet or website; failed, incomplete, misdirected, garbled or delayed computer transmissions or entries, or any other situation that may limit an individual's ability to participate in NFLatino.com Fantasy '09. In addition, the Releasees assume no liability and are not responsible for (i) typographical or other human or technical errors in the offer or administration of this Contest, including, but not limited to, errors in advertising, these Official Rules, the selection and announcement of the winner or the distribution of the prizes or (ii) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by registration information submitted by entrants, tampering, hacking, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Contest, and assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to the Contest. No liability or responsibility is assumed by the Releasees for any damage to property or injury to persons resulting from user's attempt to participate in the promotion or download any information in connection with participating in the promotion.
Entrants agree to hold the Releasees and each of their respective affiliates and agents, harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind in connection with this Contest or any prize awarded. Further, the NFL Entities will have no liability or responsibility for any claim arising in connection with participation in this Contest or any prize awarded.
The Contest Entities reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to cancel, modify or suspend this Contest for any reason, including if a virus, bug or other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Contest Entities threatens to corrupt the security or proper administration of the Contest or if there are changes to the NFL 2009 regular season schedule. In the event that the Contest is challenged by any legal or regulatory authority, Contest Entities reserve the right to discontinue or modify the Contest, or to disqualify entrants residing in the affected geographic areas. In such event, the Contest Entities shall have no liability to any entrants who are disqualified due to such an action. In the event that a scheduled NFL game is cancelled or pre-empted for any reason, no points will be awarded for that week for players on the affected NFL Member Clubs, and if a scheduled week of NFL games is cancelled for any reason, no Weekly Highest Standing Prize shall be awarded for such week.
Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer of Warranties
